revenue operator for b2b saas · dach & europe

A sales motion
buyers can trust.

I'm Rami Sliwa, selling since 2007, the last six years in B2B SaaS. Founders bring me in when sales isn't delivering. I look at where it actually breaks, rebuild process and team, and sell alongside you until it runs.

↳ storyclash

Four years at Storyclash. Here's what I built there.

At Storyclash I did new business across DACH and Europe, the full cycle myself: outbound, discovery, demos, POCs, procurement, negotiation, closing. Value based selling, hard qualification with MEDDICC, a clean forecast in the CRM (HubSpot), no gut feeling. And what customers told me didn't die in the CRM, it went back into the product.

Same story at presono before that: 50+ full cycle deals, around €1.25M ARR. Not a one off, it's repeatable. MarTech is what I know deepest, but the method works in FinTech and other B2B SaaS categories too, when the product has real buyer fit. And if a product doesn't have it, I'll tell you before you spend money.

↳ revenue × product

What I do with feature requests before they flood your product team.

I take customer wishes seriously, but I never pass them through one to one. Sales that understands what a feature really costs the product team protects it instead of burying it. Here's how it works with me:

01

Hear the job

Understand the outcome behind the requested feature.

02

Find the pattern

Separate repeated buyer signal from one loud outlier.

03

Price the long tail

Estimate revenue, retention, UX, data, support and release consequences.

04

Send a decision

Prioritized, context rich signal instead of a forwarded wish list.

↳ offers

Three ways to work with me.

Start with the smallest package that gets you an honest answer. We only go deeper when execution, coaching or a live deal actually changes the outcome.

Embedded Revenue Operator

Senior operating capacity without hiring a full time sales leader too early.

  • Weekly pipeline, forecast and deal room
  • Live coaching, calls and enterprise deal support
  • Iteration until the team runs the motion without me
Optional module · AI CRM Assistant Setup: an assistant on your stack (Day.ai, Attio or folk, vendor neutral, no license commissions), five hard rules as automations, team onboarding, handover in two weeks.

What does it cost? It depends on team size and depth, so I discuss pricing in the conversation, not on the website. In 30 minutes you know what fits and what it costs.

The GTM Truth Check

15 questions, five possible verdicts, three of them without a pitch. If you don't need me, the tool tells you exactly that, including three moves that work without me. Nothing leaves your browser.

↳ ask around

Don't trust the claim. Ask people who've worked with me.

"Sales-Gespräche mit dir waren immer extrem angenehm und unterhaltsam, null aufdringlich."

"Sales conversations with you were always extremely pleasant and entertaining, zero pushiness."

Caren Seegers · Influencer Growth Partner, ex ahead · public on LinkedIn, original in German ↗

"Ehrlich, ich hatte noch nie so einen tollen Einstieg in einen Job, dank dir. Danke, dass du mir so viel gelernt hast, als Newbie in dem Business."

"Honestly, I've never had a better start into a job, thanks to you. Thank you for teaching me so much as a newbie in this business."

This is meant literally: I don't turn private praise into advertising without permission. After a fit conversation, just ask me for a founder, buyer or rep who can speak to exactly the work you're looking at. You don't build a reputation on stages. You build it in honest conversations when nobody's watching.

ARROW+AROUNDARROWND· direction plus reputation
↳ why this works · independent data

Visibility scales. Trust doesn't.

Referrals and honesty aren't a nice theory of mine, they're measurable. Here's what independent studies say:

84%

of B2B decision makers start their buying process with a referral. Exactly where a brand called "Ask around" begins.

Source: Referral Rock
92%

of B2B buyers rely on referrals when making purchase decisions, peer recommendations work three times stronger than advertising.

Source: BusinessDasher

faster close for referred B2B leads compared to cold outbound, with 30 to 70 percent better conversion.

Source: DemandSage

And that's exactly what the business model is built on: if buyers don't trust salespeople and referrals decide everything, the loudest doesn't win. The one you can verify does.

↳ questions

Answered briefly.

What is the difference between an embedded revenue operator, fractional sales and a full time account executive?

A full time AE costs salary, employer contributions and four to six months of ramp, a year's budget before the first euro of pipeline exists. Classic fractional sales delivers part time strategy but rarely carries its own deals. An embedded revenue operator is both: in market from week one, selling alongside the team, coaching it, and staying flexible month to month. And if your volume carries a full time AE, I'll tell you exactly that and help you hire.

How fast does an external sales operator deliver results in a B2B SaaS startup?

Meetings within the first two weeks, credible pipeline after 30 days, closed deals depending on your sales cycle. No miracles, just activity you can count in the CRM.

What does a fractional revenue operator for B2B SaaS cost in the DACH region?

The honest anchor: a full time senior AE in DACH costs around €119,000 in year one (salary, employer contributions, recruiting) with four to six months of ramp, roughly €15,000 per truly productive month. An operator engagement sits below that, is productive from week one and stays flexible month to month. Concrete numbers follow the fit conversation, because team size and operating depth define the scope.

Does ARROWND work on commission or on retainer?

Retainer plus a success component with named opportunity attribution. Pure commission, no: whoever works on commission only optimizes for fast deals instead of good ones, and your customer notices before you do.

Which startup stage does this fit, pre seed, seed or Series A?

B2B SaaS between pre seed and Series A, typically ACV €5k to €50k and sales cycles between 30 and 90 days. Founder led sales at its limit, or a first team without a playbook: exactly then.

Does the method only work for MarTech or also for FinTech and other B2B SaaS categories?

MarTech is the deepest proof ground. The method transfers to FinTech and other B2B SaaS categories when the product has real buyer fit. Honest condition: I have to be able to represent your product in good conscience, otherwise I decline before you spend money.

Why is it called ARROWND?

ARROW plus AROUND: direction plus reputation. The brand doesn't claim trust, it invites you to check. Ask around.
